Moving Tips and Advice

All My Sons of Nashville has been through many, many moves. We’ve seen it all, from the very organized to the not-even-finished-packing-yet when our Nashville movers arrive on site to the very stressed out and more. People move for different reasons and not all are happy ones. Think of separation, divorce situations, evictions and more situations of that nature. Throughout the years and with each and every move, the All My Sons of Nashville movers have learnt a few tips. The easiest moves and least stressful ones are when the entire home is packed and ready to go. Boxes are aligned in each room, appliances aren’t plugged anymore, items are divided between partners (in divorce cases) and so on. And if you plan ahead, take the time to pack weeks before moving day and have enough packing supplies, this would be done once your movers are there. All My Sons of Nashville thinks it’s also a good idea to take notes while you’re packing, this can help you find things more quickly once you unpack or even write down notes about specific items, things you’d like to fix or refurbish and so on. Choosing a professional an reliable moving company is very important too. When you’re dealing with movers that are expert at their job, you don’t have to worry about anything. No worrying about damage, no worrying about insurance and the experience becomes a more pleasant one, even if the reason why you’re moving isn’t a very happy one.

Work With Reliable Movers

Moving companies are a dime a dozen. There are a ton of them, all with different grades of service, reputation and professionalism. When researching for a moving company, most times it’s hard to gage their expertise and reliability just based on a phone conversation or the internet. That’s why I think, it’s always best to get referrals. Ask your friends, family, colleagues, even your realtor if they know of a professional moving company. You’ll feel much more at ease and will be able to base your judgment not only on the information presented to you in order to get your business, but also by someone who’s experienced their services. That’s why I’m writing this little review about All My Sons of Nashville. My friend Britney recommended them because her husband used their moving services to move his law practice from Brentwood to Nashville. So I gave them a call and after talking to someone for a while, I hired the All My Sons of Nashville movers. On the day of the move they showed up on time, moved quickly and carefully and even help us set up in our new place in Nashville. I got charged what I was told from the beginning and the whole move was seamless and effortless. Thank you All My Sons of Nashville. This testimonial was by Ruthie Green, Nashville, TN

Hire a Reputable Moving Company

Just recently, according to Komu.com, a new Columbia resident is in a dispute with the moving company she hired to move her belongings from Florida. The moving company has left her belongings 1,300 miles away. She says they swindled her out of $6,000 but the moving company denies it. Because she refused to pay, her stuff is being held hostage somewhere in a warehouse in Miami. The article goes on to say that she signed a contract for $2,600 but that the movers increased the price to $8,300 on the day of the move. The moving company says that on that day, her inventory tripled. The load they had to move was much bigger. The case has yet to be solved.

If you don’t want to get caught in a he said, she said game, deal with professional movers. All My Sons Moving and Storage has office across America and you can find them all on our website.
